I have been deleting emails from these people for over a year now. Ive emailed support, changed my notification settings and deleted the app numerous times, and still cannot get off of their relentless mailing list. I am not very particular about keeping a clean inbox either, but this is excessive. If you make an account, you are basically giving yourself a perpetual chore. I am considering deactivating the email address Ive used for 13+ years just to escape the constant barrage of emails about random, vaguely-relevant tasks that people need completed all over the world. Ive had to go to counseling and started grinding my teeth at night from the added stress. I have never even used the service! Making an airtasker account is one of the worst decisions I have ever made online. There are tons of service out there that are less invasive, try taskrabbit instead.
Dont make the same mistake I did. RUN while you still can.
